The Repository of Yiddish in Translation was created in 2023 by Yale undergraduate Giovanna Truong (טובֿה־גיטל) (MY '23). After she publishes English translations of all known Yiddish writing, she will begin translating all English writing to Yiddish.

The first piece published on this site was a translation of Michl Gelbart's Zumer Ovnt.
